I've been a journalist for more than 20 years, and I've spent a lot of my career writing about work-life balance. As a newspaper columnist, I've written about meshing work and life, workplace issues, and small business. When the Yahoo! Tech team was building the site from the ground up, they saw that my experience as a journalist and a mom who has lived and dissected the work-life struggle would help me connect with other moms who are trying to figure out how technology fits into our family and work lives.
